The journey began with the Kavyansh Pustakalay on 26 March 2018 — a free library for poor children at the Saraswati Balika Vidya Mandir, Khadkot Pithoragarh. What started as one program grew into a movement.
On 6 November 2020, we formally registered as a public charitable trust under the Sub-Registrar Pithoragarh.
Today we operate across all of India through five focus areas, with 4 trustees who give their time pro-bono and volunteers across districts.

Public charitable trust formally registered with Sub-Registrar Pithoragarh — Trust Reg No. 43/2020/BK4.
Multi-village mobile blood donation camps in partnership with regional blood banks and the Indian Red Cross. Several hundred units collected over the two-year period.
Income Tax Department grants both 12A registration and 80G donor approval — donations to Mitansh Foundation now formally tax-exempt.
Ministry of Corporate Affairs grants CSR Registration No. CSR00053823 — corporate partnerships now formally enabled.
Foundation work begins on our most ambitious infrastructure project — a community ashram-school in the hills.
