A growth-oriented community development specialist who has spent over two decades serving the people of Uttarakhand — from rural livelihood missions to youth movements, from classroom teaching to drinking-water projects.
Born and raised in Pithoragarh, Jitendra Tiwari has worn many hats: Managing Director of one of the district's earliest tutorial institutes, LIC field officer, ABVP Jila Pramukh, principal, author-editor, and senior bureaucrat with the Swajal Pariyojna and NRLM. Each role has been driven by one mission — to put hard work, knowledge, and integrity at the service of his community and the institutions he serves.
Today he continues that work as an Incubation Manager with the Rural Business Incubator Project and a long-standing supporter of grassroots NGOs across the hills.
